Clinical Reasoning Frameworks

Collection of cognitive frameworks that help clinicians think clearly and make safe & effective decisions in the face of uncertainty.

Some of these frameworks are well established within medical education literature whilst others are practical heuristics evolved through frontline clinical experience. I have not included all but rather the main frameworks (the ones I use in daily clinical practice!)

This section introduces each framework using both its recognised academic terminology and a practical explanation of how it can be applied in everyday practice. Remember, these do not replace knowledge or experience – they provide a structured way of organizing & applying them!
