Clinical Challenges

Hopefully you’re getting the gist of it through reading the frameworks & cases?
Now its your turn! Apply your clinical reasoning to authentic medical cases.
Each challenge is based on a real clinical case (fully anonymised) and will be presented in stages, mirroring how clinical information becomes available in real practice.
Use the CR frameworks to structure your thinking, formulate hypotheses with decision making to develop your management plan for each case.
The clinical progress & outcome of each case will be revealed later with my CR application. You can compare, contrast, add, subtract (semantic qualifiers!) your application to mine. Hopefully, we can all discuss & learn from each other – perhaps, you may add further frameworks from the literature or even from your own experience!
Remember ‘the objective is not to simply arrive at the correct diagnosis, but to demonstrate clear & structured clinical reasoning’
